3 Little Intentions I Am Setting For The Week Ahead.

I’m feeling renewed and refreshed after my little hiatus.

As I mentioned in my last post, I felt it was time for me to take a little break from writing. I wanted to get back to more blogging, but I didn’t quite get there. After a bit of organisation and, if I am honest, forcing myself to open my laptop, I am now ready and willing to get back to the blog.

I’ve made time to write and schedule some content in advance, rather than playing catch up continuously and stressing myself out. These will be posted on the usual platforms, Medium, WordPress, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Tik Tok and on Sundays I will consolidate all of the posts from that week into my Substack Newsletter, so if you would prefer to read these all in one go, you can sign up for free here

This week, I’m going back to basics. My favourite season is here and bringing me a fresh start. So here are my intentions for this week.

Drink 2 litres of water each day.

My skin has been dry and prone to outbreaks and I feel like I have very little energy most days. I am doing a lot more walking these days, but drinking less water, so I am going to up my water intake and I should hopefully see some improvements in my skin and my energy levels.

Pitch an article.

I’m so sick of repeatedly putting this on my list of intentions and I did debate whether to add this one this week for fear that I would be boring you all to death with it! I decided that by putting it here, I will be holding myself accountable and it might give me that kick up the bum I’ve needed.

Put my alarm clock back on

I switched it off for a while, not because I wanted a lie-in, but because I wasn’t really needing it. However, the tiredness I have been feeling lately is starting to get to me, so I am going back to getting up at the same time each day and the same for going to bed. I’ll do anything I can to avoid the groggy afternoon slump I’m currently experiencing.

What are your intentions for this week? ❤️
