As we’re getting closer to the holidays, I’m not just looking back on the past year; I’m also feeling the need to take a bit of a breather. It’s time to recharge, reflect, and soak up all the festive fun with my loved ones.
This year’s been a rollercoaster—both personally and professionally. Dealing with the ups and downs of business and starting the perimenopause journey really threw some curveballs my way. But you know what? Every challenge helps me to learn how to be tougher and more patient.
Even when times got tough, those moments pushed me out of my comfort zone and became valuable lessons. They’ve sharpened my problem-solving skills, showed me how to prioritise, and reminded me to take care of myself when things get crazy.
These challenges also forced me to dive deeper into some self-reflection both in and out of therapy, which has really helped me grow and had a huge impact on how I see things in life.
With the holiday season knocking at the door, taking a break feels pretty important. It’s not just about the festivities; it’s about relaxing, cherishing moments with all my favourite people, and making sure I’m taking care of myself.
And while I’m getting ready for this break, I want to remind each of you to do the same. The festive season is a chance for all of us to take it easy, unwind, and spend some quality time with the people we care about.
Take a step back from all the craziness and savour some peaceful moments. Whether it’s snuggling up with a good read, enjoying a quiet evening by yourself, or having fun with loved ones, let’s make sure to take care of ourselves and treasure those relationships that bring us so much joy.
As we get ready for the new year with, let’s remember that this time of year can be difficult for some. I honestly understand how tough this time can be, and I want you to know that we’re in this together.
My main focus for 2024 is going to be finding out how I can best improve my health lifestyle, which of course I will be sharing with you all and I hope we can help each other to be accountable for our own personal goals.
I am grateful to each and every one of you for taking the time to read my blog and I wish you all very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year and I look forward to us catching up in 2024!
Lots of Love
Clare
