Planning a plan

Friday 12th June 2020

I fell asleep on the sofa last night, I really can’t be bothered with work and I spend some time debating whether to call in sick or not, I just can’t be dealing with my boss today. The decision is made for me when someone from work calls me, looks like I’m working today.

When the call starts, I can’t think straight and the guy is all upbeat and talking about complex things, somehow, being forced to think wakes my brain up and I start to come around.

I spend some time thinking about how my week has gone, I always start my weeks full of enthusiasm, determination and more importantly calories! I get to Wednesday and I start wanting takeaways and wine. Last week, I managed to tame the beast, why is this week different? What have I done or not done this week? I realise it’s actually all in the planning, last week, I planned every single meal, I stayed off of the alcohol in the week and I batch cooked a lot of meals, so there was always something ready if I was feeling lazy.
This shall be my plan for this week and going forward!
