Feeling lost

As most weeks have been, this one started off ok. My first week without the pressure of mileage hanging over my head, but as usual, it snowballed into me eating and drinking too much, I mean what else is there to do?

I took some time this week to go through my WhatsApp and catch up with friends, I’ve been really rubbish so am going to make sure at least once a week I sit down and reply to everyone.

I’ve been stopping and starting the 28 days of magic, i just can’t seem to get into the swing of gratitude and I was finding it really frustrating. I decide to stop putting pressure on myself and leave it until next week, have a breather before throwing myself into the next thing.

At the end of the week, I decided to rejoin JSA. I really did enjoy those workouts and they’re not time consuming, the whole issue with how I look and feel about myself is forever hanging over my head, I’m going to be 40 next month and I don’t want to be looking or feeling the way I do right now. So yesterday, I did some meal planning, I prepped some food – 4 batches of Piri Piri chicken & rice, 4 beef stifados & 2 saffron rice and chicken – leaving me with no excuse to order a takeaway as I’m feeling lazy!

I’m not expecting miracles but it does feel good to have some focus again!
